Music Industry knows how to do some bad timing thats for sure.
Today Forbes.com reports Alain Levy, boss of EMI group, said,
he expected Steve Jobs to offer new pricing models to the users of the iTunes Music Store. What does that mean for the consumer? EMI,Warner and Sony have been pulling strings to make Apple move away from their fixed-price system (0.99 $US) towards a more flexible one. They would love the Music Store to sell older tracks for less while selling the new stuff at a price higher than 1 dollar.
Seems like music industry started an internal race for the "scare-the-consumer-away" championship.
